HISTORY:

County of Prince George, Virginia: Division Director and Director for the Department of Social Services – 33 years  (February 15, 1978 untill Retirement on January 1, 2011). Over 40 years of public service.

Promoted to Senior Social Worker in Child Welfare (position held until appointed to Director of Department of Social Services)

Promoted to Social Work Supervisor in Child Welfare with program responsibility
In Foster Care and Adoption

June 1972, Family Services Social Worker, Petersburg, Virginia Department of Social Services.

Certifications: Child Protective Service Investigation
                     Out of Home Child Protective Service Investigation
                     Child Sexual Abuse Investigation

Sufficient hours in both English and Psychology to have a double major
